Today we are going to be discussing five potential deaths in Boruto Naruto Next Generations. Now to begin with, these are deaths that are LIKELY to happen in the series as they will be characters included in the future scenarios leading towards the end with Boruto vs Kawaki! After reading, please let us know your top 5 deaths you expect to see in Boruto. So with that said, lets begin!
Death 1 – Sasuke Uchiha
Sasuke Uchiha is the only human left in the Shinobi world that possesses the Rinnegan. Sasuke is also one of two people in Konoha that can travel to other dimensions because of his power. If Sasuke were to be defeated, Kara and the Otsutsuki Clan won’t have to worry about someone entering another dimension and destroying their plans. Sasuke is definitely a priority target on both villain’s lists.
Death 2 – Naruto Uzumaki
Naruto Uzumaki is only on this list simply because of his vague disappearance from Kawaki’s word in the first episode of Boruto Naruto Next Generations. Naruto could just be in the other dimension Kara is trying to open, but Naruto can die as Kishimoto has stated in an interview before that he is willing to kill off the old generation if they are holding back the new generation from prospering. Naruto is also a major concern for the Otsutsuki, as Naruto has chakra reserves they could use for power consumption (just like the Boruto movie).
Death 3 – Konohamaru Sarutobi
This one is surprising, but let me explain. Konohamaru makes this list because in the manga currently, Konohamaru is face to face with a mysterious villain that has already killed the ninja that was accompanying Konohamaru. This villain could be the Vessel Kara is missing, or it could be another Kara member. What we do know is that Konohamaru is in trouble.
Death 4 – Jigen
Jigen is the leader of the inner members of Kara. From what we know is that he possesses a curse mark and it is related to Boruto’s. In fact it is the same one as Boruto’s. Kara will be at the front line of villains to be defeated, and Jigen will be one of them to fall.
Death 5 – Kashin Koji
Kashin Koji, another member of Kara, will more than likely be killed as well seeing as how he is a main inner villain. It is rumored for all Inner members to have at least one curse mark (just like Jigen) and maybe after killing one, you receive the curse mark in return, similar to Momoshiki giving Boruto a curse mark.
